Finta carbonara recipe from of 15-03-2016 [Updated on 16-03-2016]

The fake carbonara also called carbonara without eggs is a variant of the classic first course of Roman cuisine. The pasta is seasoned with bacon, ricotta and turmeric instead of egg. Incredible but true, one has the sensation of eating the classic carbonara, proving that it is not only eaten with taste but also with sight. So if you are intolerant to eggs, or if you don't have them available at home, or if you want a "lighter" place this is the recipe for you, I liked it a lot;) I'll leave you with the recipe and wish you a dessert day, today I'm away in my husband's office, so I'm going to immerse myself in my paperwork;)

How to make a fake carbonara

In a bowl, mix the ricotta with the turmeric and a couple of tablespoons of boiling water

Stir and mix to obtain a sauce.

Brown the diced bacon in a pan over a very low heat, it must melt.

Then add the ricotta cream and mix.

Cook the bucatini in abundant salted water.

Drain them al dente and pour them directly into the saucepan.

Sauté the pasta with the sauce to flavor them.

Your fake carbonara is ready, serve it on your plates and enjoy your meal.
