This deliciously nutty chocolate icing is perfect for the tops of fairy cakes. The quantities aren't exact so experiment until you get the right consistency and flavour for you.

IngredientsMakes: 4 tablespoons

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Nutella®
  • 1 tablespoon icing sugar
  • water as needed to bind
  • 1 tablespoon Bournville® cocoa powder

MethodPrep:5min ›Extra time:10min setting › Ready in:15min

  1. Add the icing sugar and Nutella to a medium sized bowl and stir with a spoon.
  2. Add some water to stop the Nutella sticking.
  3. Add the Bournville bit by bit, tasting every time until you get the right sweetness.
  4. Ice the cakes or whatever you're making and leave to set.

Tip

These amounts are just rough. I did it by eye and anyone with icing experience will be able to do that, too. If you find it too sweet, add a bit more Bournville; if too dark, add some more Nutella and icing sugar.

Hello! While the snow is falling outside (again!), Where are you spring? I have a yummy, comforting recipe to share with you guys. This is my first bake of my baking bucket list and it was a success, Yay! It is super sweet and not that unhealthy (due to the lack of butter)! I've wanted to try banana bread for a while now, I think it's the perfect thing to start your day and what doesn't Nutella make better? Haha..so here goes!

200g plain flour
140g caster sugar
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon bicarb
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 eggs, beaten
4 mashed over-ripe bananas

1.Preheat oven to fan 180 C.

2.Place the Nutella in a bowl and microwave until it becomes workable.
